Getting some nice press from the last couple of blog postings over at the Write Bloody blog, including my installment of their new advertising campaign, Beautiful Books, Strangely Beautiful Authors.

Beautiful Books, Strangely Beautiful Authors: Byloos on Write Bloody
Here is the post from yesterday, which will take you to the Press Release as well as a free downloadable PDF of the first (complete!) story in the new book.
And today’s post, much like the one you just looked at here, on my site.
If you analyze the image of me here, you’ll see that I’ve cut out a slot in the bottom of a postcard, which depicts Liberace sitting at his grand piano, smiling (of course). The slot matches the top of my sunglasses, to which the post card has been attached, and the image runs all the way around the actual lens. If you look close, you can see the candelabra atop the piano, to Liberace’s left.
Dangling from either side of the sunglasses are two (baby blue) award ribbons, which say “Potty Training Award” and feature a cartoon line drawing of an embarrassed looking toddler aboard the toilet, most likely during or immediately after his or her first successful potty experience. The shirt underneath the black jacket has a bunch of tired cowboys at sunset, dismounted from their steeds, kind of leaning into them because either they can’t quite stand up straight, or else they’re drunk.
